During the early morning of the 28th September we will be conducting upgrades on some of our networking devices within Telehouse East and Telehouse West facilities.
We will be replacing a switch within Telehouse East (TFM-41). This will cause brief packet loss to servers that have 1Gb/s uplinks with Server IDs beginning: TFM41- TFM72- NODE-
Following this, we will be performing a software upgrade to one of our core routers within Telehouse West (TFM-120). This will result in approximately 5minutes of packet loss to servers within this facility with server IDs beginning: TFM120-H13- TFM120-H14- TFM120-H15-
The wider UKServers network is not expected to see significant disruption as traffic will be rerouted during this upgrade work.
This upgrade work will help us to maintain high quality services at these sites and allow us to deliver further upgrades to the network.
